Love With Food - March Box Review

I was very excited for this box. I actually got a code from Jennifer's blog to get this box for $2. Yeah thats right, $2 for the first month! I thought, why not, lets grab it to add it to my reviews!

So at first glance I was so excited. It was well packaged, everything seems to have its own place. It is not a BIG box, but that's ok. 

The box came with a super cute card that tells me where the products came from, what they are, and a little about them. Very helpful, A+! 

So here is the first look at the box, it looks like a lot of stuff I would never grab and put into my shopping cart. Which is ok, this box will have me trying new things. 

Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies by Emily’s Chocolates - Its a "Dark Chocolate Orange Good Fortune Cookie", kind of makes you go "hmm" right? I love chocolate, but not a huge dark chocolate fan. But add in a orange twist, and im game! I bet this will be Delicious. I wonder what the fortune will say?

Fruit & Veggie Juice by Kids50 - So its pretty self explanatory  Vanilla Almond Oats. I am sure Joseph, would love these! I am not a huge oats fan, but i'm sure i'll steal a taste.

Chocolate Covered Wasabi Peas by Chocwasabi - These are stated to be "Crunchy and exotic wasabi peas are smothered in creamy milk chocolate". Yeah.. I am not sure I will try these. The whole wasabi thing freaks me out. I will see if I can get Joseph to try them though, that man will eat anything.

Fruit & Veggie Juice by Kids50 - "Apple, carrot, and acerola berry juices meld to make a thirst quencher with 50% less calories". Alright. Think I will split this with hubby. Maybe some day little A can have some too! Although the box is pretty cute.

Salted Caramel Baked Corn by Cosmos Creations - I am unsure who will eat these, we probably will split them. They sound quite yummy if I do say so. I hope I like them, I need new snacks.

Orange Chocolate Green Tea by Revolution Tea - Sadly I am not a tea fan. Perhaps I will give this to a tea lover, or maybe make a basket of stuff I can put into gift baskets for holidays. You know, a variety of items for someone.

Mary’s Gone Crackers Sea Salt Pretzels - "Organic, Vegan, and Glutten-Free crunch snacks chock full of whole grains". It definitely doesn't sound like something we would eat, but we will definitely give it a shot at least. It just sounds to healthy for us, if that makes any sense!

Wild Berry Flat Fruit by Wacky Apple -  This is definitely me! I love fruit stuff. It reminds me of those fruit things my mom would put in my school lunch, before they removed 45-50% of the sugar. 

I am not sure what I was expecting with this box. Probably a bunch of chocolate, waffers, and cookies. But its far more healthy then I expected. Although it is introducing us to new foods, I probably won't continue this box. Maybe I can find a chocolate box to be sent to me instead!

Wittlebee - March Box Review

So our WittleBee box arrived. I was so excited, beyond excited. I have basically been stalking this box since I signed up. The box is super cute, the little bee is cute, but the feet annoy me for some reason. Who knows why. 

So when you first pry it open, you see the cute bee on tissue paper, thinking YAY SO EXCITING, right? Yeah I was super excited, I couldn't wait to rip this bad boy open!

Here is what I saw. Not exactly the most impressive looking, I would have liked a little more effort, but its fine. I felt a little let down, mainly because I saw other boxes that people received and the box was wonderfully packaged and displayed.

So lets get down to the clothing shall we? I must say I am quite disappointed with my box, I feel like it was an utter waste of money. Even the "showroom" selections were slim pickings for me, I picked anything just to get my box shipped. 

Here is the first view of everything. If you know me at all, you can tell that this really isn't my style and what I usually dress my kid in. Lets start with what I do like from the box.

 Threadless "Irony" T-Shirt - ($9.95) I could only find the adult t-shirt on the website, so I am using that price. I LOVE this shirt. Dinosaurs and Video Games, you just can't go wrong here.

Threadless "Cookie Loves Milk" T-Shirt - ($12.99) I love this shirt, I was hoping I would get this one in my show room, and HAD to have it. Its just to cute. However the fabric feels very filmsy and cheap.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Pants - ($10.00)  I could only find these pants in layette sets. So I will price it at about maybe $10 since the set is $44. Anyways, hate them. The whole pea green color is not flattering and they look like they should be for girls for some reason. I will use them, but I want it on the record that I HATE these.

RabbitMoon Baby Jeans - ($5.00?) I couldn't find these online, so I am just guessing with the price. I guessed $5 since I wouldn't pay more then that for them. They would be so much better if the green line didn't exist.

LeTop 1 Piece LT Taupe - ($18.00) I priced this the price that the One Piece's are on sell for on the website. Honestly I thought it was cuter online.. I am not to pleased with it since in 2 months when he fits, it will be summer here in California. Its great quality, very thick and sort of soft. But not my style at all.

Petunia Pickle Bottom - ($10.00) Another set piece by PPB. Again, I am NOT loving the nasty green color. But I guess the shirt has potential. I think I will put some heat transfer vinyl on it and style it up a bit to my liking. The quality is very nice, and its very soft. But what do you expect from a PPB product?

I priced this box at $65.94, which considering we paid $24.98 its a great deal! However, I still feel very let down of the choices and colors. I am pondering contacting Wittlebee, and seeing what we can do. I only like 2 out of 6 is pretty bad. I will keep you updated on it if I decide to contact them. I will however see if next months box is better, if not I might just cancel my subscription.

Late Night - Early Morning Rambling

Oh man. So I can't focus on my business, can't focus on vinyl, can't focus regardless. I just keep zoning out. So lets blog it out! Lets let it all out, maybe then I will feel better. So what is bugging me, well one of the things is.. Why in the WORLD can I not figure out this blog template stuff? I am a graphic designer, this should be easy as eating cake!!!! But no, its not. I am ultimately defeated and want to slam my head into the desk. Blogger 1 - Misty 0. I am so annoyed with the fact that I do not have my BarkBox, CitrusLane, and Wittlebee subscription boxes yet. Like really? GET IN MY MAIL BOX NOW PLEASE. I am excited to do a review, see what the excitement is all about with these. I actually die a little inside when I don't see a great box in my mail box. Is it weird that packages make me feel special and like there's a present for me? So baby A has been so adorable all day! I was doing dishes earlier(3 days worth, OOPS!) and he was in the jumparoo watching blues clues. Yes I let my 4 month old watch blues clues while he jumps his heart out. Oddly the songs make him jump harder, its quite cute. Oh also when he sees a clue he screams and jumps. Love. It. Oh back to what I was saying, so he obviously had way to much fun since my living room went dead silent while I was doing dishes. I came back to find him like this.

Obviously someone had a little to much fun. But when I went to move him to the crib for a nap, he reacted like I startled him. He then smiled at me and kept bouncing! Really kid? He's such a character.

My Silhouette Cameo blades came in today(YAY!), so I was able to play with my machine a little and design a few things. One thing I am absolutely in love with is this paw print with a heart toe. Sounds weird right? But its not! I might want to make a cup with it and add Zoey's name! 

I did try something new yesterday with my silhouette cameo. I received some black chalk board vinyl and decided to make someone a couple labels with it for her tupperware. Well when I posted the completed photos of it on my facebook my notifications blew up! It made me happy inside. Yes it did.. Yes it did.. 

Well now that my thoughts are put down on the blog and out there, I oddly feel more silent in my head. I like this feeling! Well have a awesome Saturday! I will be getting a tooth pulled today and being quite miserable i'm sure.

So I tried for about 6-7 hours to complete this. I give up for the day. I'm just done.

Mini Update

So its been a moment since I posted anything. But I seem to not know what to talk about or share with anyone! I guess I have been so wrapped up in my graphic design business that I barely have a moment to relax. I guess I can't complain, i'm obviously doing something right!

So my most recent project was these cute little girl converse! Ugh love. them. so much! I am actually very jealous inside and want a pair for myself. I might get on that, might.

We recently went to Babies'r'Us and got these items since baby A has decided milk was not enough for him. So I will get to reviewing them soon I hope. Just need to find time.

Baby A got a new toy as well! A Fisher Price Jumparoo! This kid loves to bounce when you hold him, so we figured it was time for one of these things. I might review it, might. I am unsure about it right now. 

So thats our tiny update for this morning. I must return back to work while baby A naps. Man I want to nap too.. I guess i'll make another cup of coffee instead.
