Citrus Lane - May Review

So my Citrus Lane was delivered extremely late this month. Well, last month! It ended up on my door step yesterday while we were out camping. But it had a few great things in it this month. The box threw me off, since it was bigger then usual and only had a Citrus Lane sticker on it.
See, totally out of the normal right? I honestly thought they were being lazy or ran out of box inventory. I was happy to see that this was not the case. It was just that they needed a bigger box for one of the items!

When you open the box, it looked like the normal Citrus Lane packaging. Yay!

Green Toys Stacker - ($14.99) It truly amazes me how much fun babies get out of a stacking toy. So this was a great choice by Citrus Lane. The toy is 100% eco-friendly made out of recycled milk jugs. It has a interesting feel to it, like you would never guess what it was made out of. They advertise it to be "BPA, PVC, phthalates, or external coatings" free. Which means, every mom should own one of these. My son got a kick out of playing with them. The dog even tried one out..

Happy Munchies Organic Rice Cakes - ($2.87) So these are just like adult rice cakes even taste the same. Yes I definitely tried one. They do get super sticky and it kind of annoys me. I hate feeding my child something and then my fingers stick to everything. On the plus side, Baby A does not choke on these and he loves them!

Bear Takes a Trip Cardboard Book - ($6.29) Yay! Another book to add to Baby A's collection. I hate to say it, but we really don't read to him. He won't sit still, and he tries to eat the book. I am definitely trying to save it for when he gets older and can enjoy it.

Dapple Dish Liquid Travel Size - ($1.99) Not even sure what I can say about this? I definitely will give it a try, its free soap! Other then thank, thanks for the soap Citrus Lane.. Next time can I have a toy?

Deep Steep Moisture Stick Lavender-Chamomile - ($5.95) Not sure if I will ever use this, but thanks for a new product. Maybe I will use it on my ankle and feet since they are always dry. Who knows, maybe it will be my newest best friend of a product!

The overall total of my Citrus Lane box is $32.09, which isn't to bad since you only pay $25 a month. I have decided to stop my subscription to Citrus Lane at this time. But i'm sure I will replace it with something equally or more fun!

Wittlebee - May Review

So guess what arrived? That's right! Wittlebee box of amazing-ness. I truly look forward to this box every month. The latest news with the company has truly made me very sad. I hope this is not my last box! So once I opened it I saw they sent the same outfit we previously received. I was not to thrilled about this.

Apaman Sweat Pants - ($20.00~) I couldn't find the correct price for these or even find them online in a infant size. So I put what I might pay for them at a retail store. I personally LOVE these sweat pants for our little man. He looks to adorable in them, they fit him well and look great.

Threadless Pirate Octopus - ($10.99)  Well, another threadless tee in our box. I am really hating how thin and low quality these truly feel. But that issue aside I am loving the whole pirate animal thing! Baby A looks great in it, and it fits his entire nursery theme. I must say, momma approves!

Le Top Solid Blue Essentials - ($12.00) So.. What do I say about this? I hate it. Plainly I hate it. I hate the way it feels, its so blah. Like a old man's cotton golf shirt. The one with the collars that feel so rough and uncomfortable. Yeah not a fan at all wittle bee!
Little Rebels All American Classics - ($10.00) So I found this shirt in the 12-18 month section of wittlebee, cause lets face it. Our selection was very slim this month. Its ok.. Not really my style, oops I mean Baby A, but he will wear it. Maybe.

Kate Quinn Organics Hoodie and Pants - (~$35.00 stole the price from Ms. Jennifer over at ramblingsofasuburbanmom.com) Yep, another one. Seriously wittlebee? I am quite disapponted. Not a fan at all of getting the same outfit 3 times in a row.

So all in all I total this box at $87.99 or around there. Totally not bad for paying $45 a month for a box. However my box has gone up in price $10 for the past 3 months. I am not happy at all with that, and after seeing the show room for June I just canceled my subscription. This was the last wittlebee box we will be receiving. I am looking into alternative boxes to take its place. But till then, I guess i'll shop at target.

Tuesday's Blues

-Weather. Seriously why is it so cold and gloom? Two days ago it was in the 90's and hot. Now its cold, gloomy and wet. I am so tired of the weather being so unpredictable. I need to be able to plan clothing for little A. I can't buy summer stuff, then have it cold. Who is going to sell sweats/hoodies when its May and in California. Horrible! Guess I better attack those sale racks this weekend.

- Teen Mom. How in the world are these young ladies even able to function in their day to day lives. With the lies, cheating, horrible taste in men, and constant drama.. I just can't imagine how they are able to function, let alone get anything done. It really annoys me to see them make the same mistakes over and over. I wish they could learn the first time. But I guess

- Teething. My son is working on his top two front teeth now, and oh my goodness. It has been nonstop crying, screaming, grunting, and misery! He even has teething cold symptoms. I hate seeing him in so much pain, it breaks my heart. I even ordered him a Amber necklace, I will do a review on that once he has worn it for a week.

- My USPS Mail Man. Normally I love getting mail and look forward to it. Except this new guy has lost at least a few packages a month of mine. I don't understand how USPS is even in business with how many packages are damaged and lost. I really need for my packages to arrive, not be marked delivered and not be delivered. C'mon now, common sense.

- Myself. I find myself to busy to keep up blogging. By the time I have time I am to tired to. I feel like I don't have enough time in the day, hell even a shower barely fits into my schedule. I need a nanny! I wonder if one would work for cookies only?

That's my blues for this Tuesday.

Citrus Lane - May Review

So I started receiving Citrus lane last month, but my box was damaged and was just a huge wreck I just didn't bother with photos or anything. So this month I received a perfect condition box but had a teething baby and zero time(sadly). We received the box right before we went to the beach, so I snagged some quick photos(which I apologize for, the quality isn't the best) so I could take a few of the stuff with us!

So here is what the box looks like when you first open it. It looks really great, like your getting a present in the mail. Kudos to Citrus Lane on making me feel like I am getting a present!

So once you open your present this is the few. Nicely put in, everything looks interesting.
Plum Organics Little Cremes - $3.29: Baby A really loves these! Probably more then he loves the puffs we get at walmart. They are just an occasional little snack for fun. I love that they are organic, and do not require him to chew. They basically melt in his mouth the second it touches his tongue. I can definitely see these in our cabinets every month!

EZ Grip Massaging Teether - $4.99 We received out box right before we went to the beach, so I snagged the photos quickly, mostly so I could take this bad boy with us. Let me just say, if you have a baby who does not deal with teething easily, this is your product! It seems so simple and like it wouldn't help. But oh man does it help!! Our son loves this thing, he bites down on it, shoves it in his mouth and even offers to share it with us. Probably my favorite Citrus Lane item yet!

First Play Spinning Penguin - $7.99 We originally thought Baby A would LOVE this thing since he loves Pengu on netflix. Yeah this barely gets played with in our home. It pretty much just sits on our floor and gets ignored. Its a cute concept, but not fun for our son.

Ooga Silicone Baby Spoon - $5.99 Its a train spoon, to go along with those train noises. Sadly, it is to big for our kids mouth. But I can't wait for him to try it! Its BPA free, and fun!

The Honest Co Shampoo+Body Wash - $9.99 So I saw this bag in my package and was like "Oh cute" lol. The photo doesn't really let you know what it is. Its a shampoo and body wash all in one for our little one. The scent of this one is "Sweet Orange Vanilla".. I can't help but wonder will my kid smell like the inside of a cadbery egg? I hope so! I might try to eat him!

So I total this box $32.35 before shipping. Which isn't bad considering the box is $21 before shipping. All in all I am ok with the box. But not completely in love. I have one more month of the gifted subscription before it runs out. I am not sure I will continue this box at this time.

Link Up: Iphone Dump!

Ok I am linking up with Ramblings of a Suburban Mom for Friday iPhone Dump! Cause lets face it, I want to brag about my family!

1. Baby A has decided he was going to start sitting up. Just one day it has clicked for him and sitting up is his new favorite pass time. We honestly never did a lot of sitting exercises or forcing him to sit with the boppy around his stomach. So this new trick was definitely shocking!

2. Again, Baby A has shocked his parents! He has decided rolling to his stomach is freaking awesome! He does it constantly and rolls around the floor. Its strange to look back at him and see him in a different part of the living room then where I put him. I definitely can't wait till he crawls and is in everything. My little adventurous child!

3. Yes I am definitely obsessed over my kid this week hes just doing new things left and right! He has decided that his toes make excellent teething objects. I honestly can not keep his feet out of his hands or his mouth. He even does it while sitting in our laps!

Well I guess all I have is 3 photos for the week, oh man! My life is truly boring I guess.. Dang, I should spice it up a little. =]

WittleBee - April Review

My April Wittlebee box arrived a few days ago, but I didn't have time to get this posted. I was really worried I was going to be super disappointed with our wittlebee box again. I was ready to write a angry email and completely turn off our subscription after last month. Last month I only liked a few pieces out of the entire box, and informed them of this. They basically told me tough cookies and to deal with it. Horrible customer service in my opinion.

So here is the first thing I see when I opened the box, not half as much care was taken when packaging this one, compared to my last box that had the tissue perfectly and neatly folded to where you couldn't see any clothing or a packaging slip. Strike one right?

This shaken goodness I blame to my mail man, not wittlebee. But here is what it looked like when I opened it. I still think they could have tried a little harder with the tissue paper. But that's just me.

Kate Quinn Organics Hoodie and Pants - (~$35.00 stole the price from Ms. Jennifer over at ramblingsofasuburbanmom.com) I couldn't find the exact item online, but this was Wittlebee's pick this month. I flipping love this adorable outfit!! I could have not been more excited to see it. When I saw this, honestly I had a feeling this box was not going to disappoint me. Now if only we could go somewhere when the weather was perfect for this outfit!!!

Wittlebee UE: SS "Special Forces" Tee: $(~8.00) I have no clue how to price this, so I am throwing it at the $8 mark since thats all I would honestly pay for it. I am not sure if I love this or just like it, but its super cute! We are not a military family, but I love that its something different other then the cutesy animal clothing that walmart and target offer. This was a wittlebee pick, and I am honestly pleased with it.

Little Rebels SS Aqua Monkey Tee - (~$8.00) I priced this around $8 because they have been featured on Zulilly for around this price per item. This was my pick, but I had to venture into the 12month section to find it. I am kind of regretting my choice to get it, since my kid isn't even 6 months yet.. Oops! But its super cute, and just our style.

Threadless Swinging Tiger and Monkeys - (~$10.99) So hubby was very shocked to see another Threadless shirt in our box, apparently he has heard of the company and liked the designs they had to offer. I still think the material feels very low quality and overly stretchy but I think its cute. Luckily baby A can pull off lime green very well.

Wittlebee Green Stars Onesie - (~10.00) I couldn't find the pricing for this, but $10 is what I would pay for it. I love this onesie, I am a huge star fan. I know baby A will be absolutely adorable in this! This shirt was my pick, and honestly again I am in complete love. The fabric feels very sturdy and even the buttons seem sturdy.

I total this box at $71.99 which is a huge difference then the $35 we paid for it. I am 100% more satisfied this time around, then last time. I do believe we will continue this box, to see what we get. I truly hope we do not get another disappointing box, and continue to get great boxes! I do hope next month that they have more options for the 6month sizes.

BarkBox - March Review

First off, let me apologize for not blogging for a week or so. A teething baby, stomach flu, and growth spurt? Oh man, someone save me! However, this post is for the amazing BarkBox! I love this box, I wish we could afford it monthly!

So when you open this box you think "Oh how cute!" I opened it and had to slam it shut before my dog would attack it. I personally love the overall presentation of the box. The green filler paper stuff is a great touch!
Acadia Antlers Moose Taster($6.00): So I was super excited to see this in our box. I have a very aggressive chewer for a dog. This dog will chew on everything, and anything. Including her own nails down to the quick! So this antler was very impressive for us. The statement from the company states "All natural dog chews, that come in a variety of sizes, shapes and regional flavors." The antlers are naturally shed from Maine Moose. They are not harmed, or hunted down for the antlers. Hello, we are sold! Oh and she still hasn't destroyed it, not even 1/4th of the way!
Zuke's Z-Bone($1.99): I am not sure how I feel towards this. After our dog Zoey tends to have a stomach ache after eating many things, I still have not let her have this one. It says it is Apple Crisp flavor, all natural, cleans her teeth and helps her breathe. Sounds like a decent product, I probably will give her this in the morning.
Wholelife Organics Sweet Potato Treats($11.90): Organic sweet potato crisps. My dog absolutely loves these! They are flash frozen and freeze dried. They smell very sweet, and honestly, Zoey goes crazy for them. I feel so happy that there are organic and great treats on the market for our pets now. Seriously, thank you to the treat maker gods!

Yumzies All Natural Grain Free Treats($6.99): These treats are super moist and interesting when you smell them. I have been very cautious when it comes to chicken treats for my beloved Zoey, but I do believe these will give us a safe chicken treat we can give her.
W.A.G Bath Wipes(~$1.00): I couldn't find a price for just one wipe, so I am pricing this as a dollar. Seems like the amount you would pay for a small sample at most pet boutiques. We love wipes for our dog in between bath times. She cries and pouts so much her eyes are always caked with tear goo. These worked great on her face, and got rid of the nasty tear smell. Probably something i'd love to have around the house!

SafeMade Gimme Gummy($8.06): Sadly this is only for "light to moderate" chewers. My dog is a chew extremist. The overall concept of the toy is great! Its food grade silicone and can be cleaned in a dishwasher. It is freezer safe, or even bake treats inside it up to 450 degrees. It is also tested to children's toy standards so its safe for your entire house hold. How ever, Zoey is a terrorist. Within 15 minutes of me photographing the box, this is the result.
Yeah she destroyed the treat area. I had to take the toy away from her, she would have ate the entire thing in a day. Digesting every single piece as well.

Zoey and I price this box at $20.89 from the pricing we have found online. I did not pay for this box, it was sent to me to review. The box costs $19.99 if you purchase 3 month subscription, and for one month its $29.99 with free shipping. If we find the funds in the future this will definitely be added to our list of must gets!

Zoey's face in the box, she inspects everything!
