Oh Vinyl, my love!

Oh how do I love days when I get a package. Its like Christmas to me, especially when I am waiting for it and checking the tracking every day. I got my first large vinyl order today, and I am so thrilled with the colors. It was from a Small Business owner, who wholesales it from Oracal. I am all about supporting small businesses, especially Facebook based businesses. So I purchased this lot online, from "foothillsnascarfan" on ebay. Within 8 hours my lot was packaged and at USPS. But since it was late Saturday/Early Sunday my page did not move. Which is fine, since it got here in 4 days! Can you tell I am thrilled? I so am!
So here is the top view of my package. Look how neat and orderly this package is. Top notch I tell ya, top notch. I couldn't wait to dig in. I was able to choose 15 rolls of the colors I wanted, and the awesome part is they are all 12" by 5 feet! So much vinyl, so many craft possibilities.
So here are the colors I chose, are they not amazingly pretty and vibrant? I am so in love with them right now. So much that I had to blog about it. All in all, this seller is all about details. He rolled each of these nice and tightly, and even added tape to make them stay. They were not smashed, damaged, or just thrown in the box. Highly recommend him, his business website is www.surrysigns.com .

What A Day.

I feel like the title couldn't possibly sum up the reasoning for this post. All I can say about the past 18 hours is, "What. A. Day." each word being its own sentence. Drastic? Maybe, but it is how my day has been. Lets sum up my day so you could understand a little. At 11:30 AM baby A had his ultrasound and at 1 PM he had his urology appointment. During the entire ride to the appointment he decided screaming and crying was a suitable thing to do. This behavior did not improve once we got to the destination and moving. During his ultrasound it was full on hyper ventilating crying. He sounded like a fog horn! After that I decided to go get some McDonalds that is inside the children's hospital while I wait for the next appointment. During lunch he screamed and cried, once again only to fall asleep suddenly. After a quick 15 minute nap my minion decided to freak out at the Urologist and the entire ride home. Luckily we got decent news at the urologist, so I wasn't overly upset.

Once home I received some orders for graphic designs, which I was excited about. This is the first time I actually LOVE what I do! It brings in decent amount of pocket change for our family, and lets me feel like I have a artistic outlet to play in. Except, not much work has been happening. I am officially 24hrs behind! Oh man.

Later in the day, a wonderful amazing woman did something that completely warmed my heart and turned my day into a far better day. Who knew that kind hearted, thoughtful people still exist in today's world? I was telling her that I could make chalk board labels for her new tupperware when she suddenly gifted me 3 free months of CitrusLane! I could not believe my eyes! I instantly screen shot to show husband and began to cry. This is just amazing, and I can not wait to see the first box. She is the reason I want to do subscription boxes. Have you googled subscription boxes? WOW so many! LootCrate, Barkbox, CitrusLane, Wittlebee, LuvMyBox.. Hehe.. So many to try, no money to do so! I will get my hands on each of these!

Well that's my daily ramble.

iChill Review, 2 point perspective.

iChill Relaxation Shot
www.ichill.com

I was given the chance to receive a free sample of iChill for myself and my boyfriend. Our main intent was writing a review on this unique item. So here it goes!! It took only a week for my request of the sample to be processed and sent out. It was packaged in a yellow bubble mailer with two samples and a folded card about the product. Let me tell you the basics about this product before getting into the review section.

iChill: designed to chill you out after a high-energy day. iChill's proprietary blend of melatonin, valerian root, rose hips, and B vitamins provide the perfect formula to help "unwind from the grind."

So with that being said, my husband and I tried this product after a long day of errands, cleaning and a very yummy dinner. So after a long long day we decided that it was 1am and we needed to sleep. Well the iChill was very convenient, and it was sitting there asking for us to drink it.

Misty's Review: Within 30 minutes after I drank iChill, I was ready for sleep. It was not an over whelming feeling of sleepiness, but a mild feeling that it was time to go relax and leave the computer. Once I laid down, and got to the perfect comfortable position I was ready to doze off. Quicker then expected. Our little puppy decided it was play time however and kept jumping on us after an hour of drinking iChill. The constant dozing in and out has left me very sleepy and irritable. This product is probably for those who don't have a nocturnal puppy! I'm sure if Zoey didn't keep me awake for the first 3 hours i'd feel so much better. I bet i'll sleep 10x better tonight that's for sure. I do feel this product would be good for other people to use and get a great sleep.

Joseph's Review: Overall it feels like a sleeping pill. Unfortunately sleeping pills make me very cranky, this product was not an exception. The taste was not much to be desired, but it they way it smelled made drinking it tangible. iChill is suppose to make me relax and relieve stress, well it worked because I don't remember a single thing after I closed my eyes.

Well there is a review from two different sides! So if you love to CHILL out after work or after a long stressful day, then this product is for you!

Products we loved in the beginning.

Well, onto the next post of the night! Before having our son A, I watched a lot of youtube videos of products that some moms loved and hated. I thought it was creative, and great way to let people know what helped the person in the beginning. With all that we had going on I did not find the time for a blog, nor did I find time to do a v-blog. So here we are, 4 months later and i'm finally ready to do it! So lets jump in on this!

First product we loved was a Fisher Price Rainforest AC Adapter swing. It was a life saver, and still is. We have a motion baby, he loves to swing while he sleeps. Its honestly the only way he will get a restful sleep at night and during naps. The fact is was AC plug in, is a life saver. We are not having to run out at 2am to get batteries! I recommend to all new moms, buy something that plugs in.
Next up, the Kick and Play Piano. Oh my goodness! For the first couple weeks that we had it, A loved it. I mean, he LOVED it. He would kick so hard he couldn't reach the keys anymore and had to be positioned near them all over again. He would cry until we put him on this toy.
The next product we have grown to love, is a seat by Summer Infant. Its called "Summer Infant 3-Stage Super booster seat. So far, A is learning to sit in the seat assisted, and he has started to bat/roll the toys! We have also tried using it as a booster seat and it works wonderfully for that as well. The only issue I have with this, is while the green foam seat is in there, its kind of hard to pull him out of the seat with his legs. But he seems to wiggle a bit to help me get him out, so I can easily overlook that.

These are the current products we absolutely loved for our son. I can honestly say not much else gets used daily by him. I guess you can say, these are mommy approved. Or at least, Misty Approved!

About my family and I.

I guess the best place to start, will be the beginning. I'm Misty, I was born and raised in Tucson Arizona. I never left the state till after my father passed in 2009. My mother and I moved to Show Low, Arizona were I lived for almost a year. I met my soul mate in February, and moved to be with him in September 2010.

This is me and the beloved back in 2010 when I first came to live with him. See that calendar in the background? Loved it, got it at Five Star Chinese Buffet! So after we lived together for a few months, we moved from his dads place into a apartment of our own. This was in February 2011, but sadly Joseph caught a cold within a week! He was so sick, we had to cancel our flight to go see his brother and his brand new nephew. But to make up with me, he got me a special present. This is something I have wanted for a very long time! Wondering what it is? We welcomed Zoey into our home, with open arms and hearts.
For a year this little girl was our everything. She is a Maltese/Poodle mix, and full of attitude. She ate everything, acted cute, and won our hearts more and more everyday.

In February 2012 we conceived our surprise son. He was definitely a surprise as we were not expecting him. For 9 wonderful months we prepared our hearts and home to welcome him to our lives. In the last 3 months of pregnancy I started to have complications with my potassium levels, being dehydrated, and very severe nausia. I tried to tell my doctor, but as usual he brushed off my complaints. The day I turned 38 weeks I saw a new OBGYN who would be delivering our son. I told him about the problems I was having, and that I have had a decrease in movement for a week. He sent me right away to Grossmont Hospital for a NST scan and ultrasound. They saw that the amniotic fluid was low, so that was a slight problem. After an hour of being hooked up to the NST machine, they noticed my sons heart decimals were not spiking like they should. They then took me to triage to keep me hooked up longer. After four hours, hubby got off work and came to be with me at the hospital. They informed us that I will be kept overnight on the machine. As the night progressed I had a few braxton hicks contractions. Each contraction brought the nurses running full speed into our room. Our son's heart rate would drop to 75-80 beats per minute from 150bpm. By 7:30am the doctors informed me that our son would be born that day. He was delivered October 24, 2012 at 9:32 AM. He was 18 inches and 5lbs, a tiny little boy.
When he started to cry, so did I. He was taken straight to be checked out while I was stitched up and taken to recovery. Once I was in recovery he was brought to me for a moment, when we attempted to breast feed because he had low blood sugar. His blood sugar was at 17, which is very low. After we attempted to breast feed, they took him back to check his level. It dropped to 7, and he was taken to NICU for some sugar water and formula. This was not the end of our battle for this. For the entire 4 days of my stay while I healed from the c-section, he was in NICU for his blood sugar levels. They just would not stabilize. On the fourth day he was transferred to another hospital that could provide him with better care since he needed an IV to be put in through his belly button. 10 days after birth we brought our little bundle home! I was falling apart without him,so his home coming was very welcome!

This is our story, this is our family. This blog is going to be for my ramblings, product reviews, items we love, items we HATE, and other crafty adventures. I hope you will follow us on this adventure, comment, and become part of our family in a way.
